A stunning pair of diamond earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These elegant earrings are made of platinum with 14k gold posts and display a beautiful geometric drop design. The posts attach to?platinum surmounts, each holding a bead-set single cut diamond amidst a milgrain setting. Hanging from the surmount is the larger dangle, which mimics the milgrain detail found on the surmount across the entire design of the earring. The dangles feature a series of 13?bead-set single and round cuts, with one larger diamond drawing in focus on each dangle. The old European cut central stone is prong set on a raised bezel to give it a little extra dimension, and?are each estimated to weigh approximately 0.25ctw. We estimate the cumulative total carat weight to be approximately 1.35ctw, with H/I color, VS2-SI1 clarity. Completing the earrings are 14k gold posts with hinged lever backs for additional security.
