A lovely pair of gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold, each earring begins with a polished ball surmount which is attached to simple earring wires. Hanging from the ball is a fanned topper featuring intricate Etruscan beading and wirework. Below it hangs a cone and ball link which is also decorated with Etruscan detailing, including a small ball that dangles from the bottom. An exquisite example of Etruscan style Victorian earrings, they would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs a little less than 2 1/4" long, is just under 5/8" at the widest point and 1/2" in depth.
Condition:?The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold earrings or to the earring wires.
